One hour promoting Vietnam in China’s Kunming

The one-hour program was implemented at the invitation of the Organizing Board of the South Asia-Southeast Asia Commodities Online Expo and Trade Investment Exchange 2021 and the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province, China.

Speaking at the live-broadcast program, Consul General Nguyen Trung Hieu introduced the positive results of cross-border cooperation in COVID-19 prevention and control, and trade and economic cooperation between Vietnam and China in general and between Vietnam and Yunnan province in particular from the beginning of 2021 to present.

He emphasized that the two sides need to cooperate closely and exchange regularly in order to maintain the achieved cooperation momentum and to be proactive, flexible and creative to promote stronger cooperation in other fields in the context of the complicated development of pandemic; affirming the brighter prospects for economic and trade cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.

Mr. Do Quoc Huong, an official in charge of trade of the Consulate General introduced in detail the special products, famous tourist destinations and 6 localities of Vietnam, including Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Yen Bai and Hai Phong, which attracted the attention of a large number of Chinese audiences, businessmen and consumers in Yunnan province.

On this occasion, female staff members and the spouse of the Consul General of Vietnam to Kunming also introduced special dishes of Vietnam’s three regions, which are favoured by domestic and foreign visitors./.
