Over 290 Vietnamese citizens repatriated safelt from Malaysia

Over 290 Vietnamese citizens were brought home from Malaysia on a Vietnam Airlines flight on November 15.

Nearly 360 Vietnamese citizens brought home from US and Japan

The flight was arranged by the Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia, Vietnam Airlines and relevant agencies of Malaysia.

Passengers included the elderly, pregnant women, children under 18 years old, labourers with expired contracts and people in extremely difficult circumstances.

Disease prevention measures were strictly carried out during the flight to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

All passengers an crew members were given health check-ups and sent to quarantine sites upon landing at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.

More repatriation flights are going to be conducted to bring home more Vietnamese citizens, depending on their needs, and quarantine capacity at home.

Earlier this month, nearly 290 Vietnamese citizens in Malaysia were brought home safely./.
