Overseas Vietnamese businesses donate 27 tons of goods and 10,000 masks to Ho Chi Minh City

Overseas Vietnamese businesses on August 19 presented 27 tons of food, agricultural products and 10,000 VNN95 masks to the People's Council, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and High Command of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), and the Naval Region 2 Command, to support frontline forces to fight the pandemic and the people in HCMC.

The overseas Vietnamese businesses include Pacific Foods Joint Stock Company (Pacific Foods), VinaFirst Company and GreenlinesDP Green Technology Co., Ltd.

The businesses desire to make their efforts to the administration, army force and people in HCMC to partly reduce their difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the 4th outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic over the past 3 months, Pacific Foods has contributed to the Vaccine Fund launched by the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC, providing rice, fish sauce, chili, vegetables and quick test kits for organizations and localities such Phu Huu ward of Thu Duc city, ward 13 of Tan Binh district, ward 3 of Go Vap district and others.  

The gifts of Pacific Foods will help the administration, frontline forces and people in HCMC have more strength and faith to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic./.
