Overseas Vietnamese in Udon Thani ease difficulties of Vietnamese students in Thailand

The representative of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Thailand’s Udon Thani province recently presented more than 50 gifts to Vietnamese students who still stay at Udon Thani Rajabhat University.

Chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Udon Thani Luong Xuan Hoa said that while each gift doesn’t have high value, mainly essential necessities, it shows the kind heart and sharing spirit of overseas Vietnamese for students facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On this occasion, Mr. Luong Xuan Hoa also thanked the university for creating conditions for overseas Vietnamese students to get the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. At the same time, he also encouraged them to stay healthy, study hard to complete the study program and become bridges for the Vietnam-Thailand friendly relationship.

Previously, through the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand and the All-Thai Vietnamese Association, the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Udon Thani province also donated 308,500 THB (about 9,400 USD) to Vietnam’s National COVID-19 Vaccine Fund.

Udon Thani Rajabhat University is one of the most famous universities in Northeastern Thailand and has cooperation agreements with more than 10 universities of Vietnam./.
