Prime Minister visits Vietnamese Embassy in China

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, accompanied by a high-level Vietnamese delegation, visited the Embassy of Vietnam in China on April 25th on the occasion of his attendance at the second Belt and Road Forum in Beijing.

Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi said the embassy has played as a bridge for the diplomatic ties between the two countries, especially in economic diplomacy, which helps maintain and promote the bilateral relations in a stable and healthy manner.

PM Phuc recognised the embassy’s efforts in implementing the Party and State’s foreign policies, economic diplomacy, and citizen protection.

He asked the embassy to strengthen economic, trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and China, contributing to balancing the bilateral trade.

The embassy is also expected to make active contributions to the defence of national independence and territorial sovereignty as well as the creation of a peaceful environment for the national economic development.

He called on the embassy staff to promote the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China, bringing practical benefits for the two peoples.

On the day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President Xi Jinping, and Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

He also met with representatives of leading businesses of China and the world in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and finance-technology-telecommunications./.
