Promoting cooperation between Germany’s state and Vietnam

Congratulating Ms. Wallmann on being elected as the President of the State Parliament of Hessen, Consul General Le Quang Long thanked the State Parliament of Hessen for always paying attention to and supporting the promotion of cooperative relations with Vietnam. Hessen has the most attachment and most effective cooperation with Vietnam, especially in the fields of education, training and justice.

The Consul General wished that in her new position, Ms. Wallmann will continue to support and promote the cooperation between the state of Hessen and Vietnam, and invite Ms. Wallmann to visit Vietnam in 2023.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Wallmann said that Hessen State always attaches importance to promoting cooperation with Vietnam, and is pleased to see that cooperation with Vietnam has achieved many results in various fields.

She hoped that Vietnam would continue to facilitate the activities of the Vietnam-Germany University and affirmed that in her new position, she would continue to pay attention to and promote the cooperation between Hessen State and Vietnam like her predecessor.

Ms. Wallmann also said that last week, the State Parliament of Hessen met and agreed to establish the Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Parliament of Hessen with Vietnam, which shows the importance of Hessen state’s attachment to Vietnam.

Mr. Long expressed his thanks and appreciated the decision of the State Parliament of Hessen, saying that this is an important initiative, contributing to strengthening cooperation between Hessen and Vietnam. The Consulate General will work closely with the State Parliament of Hessen to support activities of the Friendship Parliamentary Group./.
