Promoting cooperation between Vietnamese and Japanese embassies in Slovakia

Ambassador Nguyen Tuan paid a courtesy visit on August 23 to the Japanese Ambassador to Slovakia.

During the visit, Ambassador Nguyen Tuan emphasized the traditional and friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan which is constantly developing comprehensively, deeply and substantively in many fields. The relationship is in the best stage of development, in the framework of an extensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia.

Vietnam highly appreciates the valuable support that the Government and people of Japan have given Vietnam in its socio-economic development over the past years and especially in the fight against the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The two Ambassadors also informed each other about the complicated situations of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam and Japan; and agreed to continue promoting the tradition of cooperation and coordination between the two embassies in order to best perform political and foreign affairs tasks in Slovakia.

In addition, the two Ambassadors also discussed coordination in preparing for some upcoming annual events of the Asian Embassies in Slovakia./.
