The Vietnamese Embassy in Belarus attended the Trade Fair within the framework of the 23rd Gomel Spring International Exhibition (May 19-27), in conjunction with Vietnamese tourism promotion. This is one of many practical activities to implement economic diplomacy in 2022.

Held on the nearly 1 km long walking street in the campus of the famous "Palace - Gomel Park" complex of Belarus, the fair attracted 50 Belarusian and international businesses, diplomatic agencies and trade agencies of countries in the region to exhibit, display and introduce their products.
On May 21-22, the Vietnamese Embassy’s booth in Belarus displayed packaged food products, coffee, coconut oil, tea, some agricultural products and traditional handicrafts of Vietnam such as lacquer plates, embroidery products, silk scarves and leather wallets. Besides, clips and publications promoting Vietnam were also shown and presented to visitors.
Vietnam's booth attracted the attention of many visitors, especially those who have not had the opportunity to be in Vietnam. In particular, during the fair, the representative of the Vietnam Trade Office in Belarus received cooperation proposals from a number of wood processing companies of Gomel province.
The participation in the fair positively contributes to the goal of promoting and bringing Vietnam's strong export products to penetrate deeper into the Belarusian market, and attracting more and more Belarusian tourists to Vietnam./.
