The Korean language exam in 2023 for employees who wish to work in RoK under the EPS Program will be held in two rounds, including: The Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) and a skills and capacity assessment test. After meeting the requirements of both rounds of the exam, the employees are eligible to apply for a job in RoK under the EPS Program.

RoK needs the largest number of workers in the manufacturing and fishing sectors. For the agricultural sector, priority will be given to workers from 74 poor districts and 54 extremely difficult communes in the lowlands, coastal areas and islands. It doesn’t recruit workers for the manufacturing sector in localities that are on the list of recruitment suspension of the Korean side.

In 2022, nearly 10,000 Vietnamese workers were sent to RoK. The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs is negotiating with RoK so that the country relaxes entry conditions for shipbuilding workers, and promotes the expansion of accepting more seasonal workers as well./.
