State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese to launch its website

The event will be held in person and online, and be chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Quang Hieu, Chairman of the SCOV.

The ceremony consists of three main contents: Dissemination of the Politburo's Conclusion No.12-KL/TW on overseas Vietnamese work in the new situation, introduction of the SCOV's website, and launch of the program "Comprehensive survey of overseas Vietnamese's opinions about legal regulations and related administrative procedures”.

Implementing the Resolution of the 13^th National Party Congress and Conclusion No.12-KL/TW, reorganizing the information and communication work for overseas Vietnamese work, meeting the work requirements in the new situation, the SCOV will launch a website to provide rich and comprehensive contents on all aspects of overseas Vietnamese work, as well as to post information about the history, culture, country and people of Vietnam to overseas Vietnamese.

At the same time, the commission has built the content and developed the software "Comprehensive survey of overseas Vietnamese's opinions about legal regulations and related administrative procedures” with the aim of directly collecting overseas Vietnamese’s ideas on guidelines, policies, laws and administrative procedures related to overseas Vietnamese, especially regulations related to the fields of nationality, residence, investment and business.

The survey software is expected to be posted on the website of the SCOV, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the websites of the Vietnamese representative missions abroad.

With the widespread promotion on websites, the survey software will easily reach a large number of overseas Vietnamese and it will be a bridge contributing to connecting the opinions of the overseas Vietnamese on the development and improvement of legal policies for overseas Vietnamese in the coming time./.
