Temasek Foundation supports Vietnam to fight against COVID-19

The Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore has received the first shipment supported by the Temasek Foundation for Vietnam to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, and will transport the shipment to the country on a repatriation flight conducted by Vietnam Airlines on September 17.

The shipment includes 16 ventilators of all kinds, 250,000 high-grade medical masks, 200,000 face shields, 100,000 medical protective suits, 5,000 protective goggles and 4,500 pairs of gloves.

Mr. Le Cong Dung, Minister Counsellor of Vietnam to Singapore, said that after arriving in Vietnam on September 17, the first batch will be immediately handed over to Hanoi Medical University Hospital. The remaining support goods will be shipped to Vietnam as soon as possible.

The Temasek Foundation is the non-profit humanitarian organization under the Temasek Group, an investment company based in Singapore.

From 2007, the foundation has supported many cooperation programs and supported Vietnam to improve capacity and train in the fields of health care, education and public administration./.
