UN honors three Vietnamese military officers

The United Nations (UN) recently awarded its medal to three officers of the Vietnam People’s Army who are working at the UN headquarters in New York, US, on the occasion of the Peacekeeper’s Day (May 29).

The three Vietnamese personnel, including Lieutenant Colonel Luong Truong Vinh, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Duc Huong and Major Nguyen Phuc Dong - were honored for their efforts and special achievements during their mission at the UN headquarters.
They were among 82 military and police officers from 28 countries who were honored this time.
In 2020, Vietnam first sent three military officers to work at the UN Secretariat./.
