The closing ceremony of the Vietnamese language class had the participation of Ambassador Le Viet Duyen, President of the Venezuela-Vietnam Friendship Association (CAVV) Carolus Wimmer, and more than 30 students from ministries, sectors, universities, institutions and media agencies of Venezuela.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Le Viet Duyen highly appreciated the efforts and enthusiasm of the trainees over the past three months, despite facing many difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, differences in language and busy professional work, the trainees still attended the Vietnamese class fully, seriously complete the course with good results.
He affirmed that the Vietnamese representative office in Venezuela will continue to facilitate the organization of more Vietnamese language classes in both face-to-face and online forms, contributing to helping trainees learn more about culture, country and people of Vietnam, becoming the core nucleus in the process of strengthening the friendship and people-to-people exchanges between Venezuela and Vietnam.
CAVV President Carolus Wimmer thanked Ambassador Le Viet Duyen and teachers for the enthusiastic support during the course, and hoped that the Embassy would not only offer Vietnamese language courses, but also organize classes on Vietnamese culture and cuisine.
On this occasion, Ambassador Le Viet Duyen presented certificates of completion of the basic Vietnamese course to the trainees.
Sharing at the ceremony, the trainees expressed regret that the training program had ended and expressed their wish to have the opportunity to continue learning Vietnamese and learn more about the culture, country and people of Vietnam.
In particular, they hope to have the opportunity to travel to Vietnam, enjoy delicious dishes, and experience the unique culture of Vietnam./.
