This is the world's leading exhibition of the wind industry taking place every two years at the conference center Hamburg Messe. This year's event has attracted more than 1,400 exhibitors from 40 countries and territories in the world, which is held on an area of 68,500 square meters.

At the meeting with Ms. Heike Winkler, WAB Executive Director, Consul General Le Quang Long affirmed that Vietnam is prioritizing the development of renewable energy.

To achieve the net zero emissions target by 2050 as committed at COP26, wind power will be a major contributor to Vietnam's energy structure. Therefore, Vietnam urgently needs to attract investment as well as technology support and human resource training in the field of wind power from countries with potential in this field, especially Germany.

He has supported and highly appreciated the idea of establishing a Vietnam-Germany Energy Hub initiated by Prof. Dr. Do Thanh Trung, CEO of MorEnergy and founding member of the Vietnam-Germany Innovation (VGI) Network.

Heike Winkler said that WAB will work closely with Vietnamese-German leading experts living and working in Germany in the field of renewable energy to promote cooperation between WAB members and Vietnam in the field of wind energy through Energy Hub./.
