Vietnam brings home over 240 Vietnamese citizens from Malaysia

Vietnam recently repatriated over 240 Vietnamese citizens from Malaysia on a flight of Bamboo Airlines.

Vietnam repatriates over 340 citizens from Russia

The flight was arranged by the Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia, Bamboo Airlines and related Malaysian authorities.

Passengers on the flight included pregnant women, those with underlying health conditions, children under 18 years old, workers with expired labour contracts, and other especially disadvantaged cases.

The Vietnamese Embassy sent its staff to the airport to support them with boarding procedures.

Disease prevention measures were carried out during the flight to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. The crew members and all passengers were given heath check-ups upon landing at Cam Ranh airport in Khanh Hoa province, and sent to quarantine sites in line with regulations.

More flights will be arranged to bring Vietnamese citizens with disadvantaged circumstances, depending on their need and quarantine capacity at home./.
