The flights were arranged by Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, Bamboo Airways and relevant agencies of Taiwan (China).

The passengers included the elderly, the sick, pregnant women, workers whose visas expired, students with ended training programs, and those having disadvantages.

The Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei sent staff to the airport to support them with boarding procedures.

Security and disease prevention measures were strictly carried out during the flight to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Right after landing at the Da Nang International Airport in the central province of Da Nang, all crew members and passengers were given heath checkups and put into quarantine sites according to the regulations.

In the coming time, more flights will be arranged to bring home more Vietnamese citizens, depending on their need and quarantine capacity at home./.
