Vietnam congratulates Lao Embassy in France on traditional festival Bunpimay

A delegation of the Embassy and representative agencies of Vietnam in France led by Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang and his spouse on April 12 congratulated the Lao Embassy on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay Festival (April 14-16, 2022).

On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in France, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang sent his best wishes to Lao Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth, all officers and employees of the Lao Embassy in France and their families on the occasion of the new year.
He suggested that the two embassies soon make a plan to organize joint activities and events to contribute to the success of the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2022, practically celebrating the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations and 45 years since the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation.
Lao Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth expressed his gratitude for the good wishes of Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in France.
Mr. Kham-Inh Khitchadeth said that the two embassies need to create conditions for young diplomats of the two sides to increase contact and exchange information in order to understand and have deeper insight, thereby being aware of their responsibilities to protect and preserve this priceless relationship.
The two sides agreed on a number of exchange and cooperation activities in the near future within the framework of the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year, and will mutually support to complete their missions, serving the benefits of each nation, people and the ASEAN community./.
