Vietnam supports Mongolia with 50,000USD to cope with COVID-19 pandemic

On behalf of the Vietnamese Government, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mongolia Doan Khanh Tam on October 18 met with Lieutenant General G. Ariunbuyan, Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency cum Deputy Head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Mongolia, and awarded the amount of 50,000USD from the Government of Vietnam to support the Government

On behalf of the Government of Mongolia, Deputy Head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Mongolia G. Ariunbuyan sincerely thanked the government and people of Vietnam for their valuable support, contributing to supporting the government and people of Mongolia to effectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and protect the health of the people.
He expressed his pleasure, noting the good developments in the long-standing traditional friendship between Mongolia and Vietnam, saying that the two sides have achieved many positive results in political, economic, commercial and humanitarian cooperation in recent years; and pledged to effectively use the support provided by the Government and people of Vietnam, prioritizing the use and purchase of medical equipment for frontline doctors against the pandemic.
Ambassador Doan Khanh Tam highly appreciated the effective implementation of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control by the Mongolian Government, and shared that Vietnam is also focusing all its resources on pandemic prevention and control and economic recovery during the pandemic, which is developing complicatedly.
Vietnam firmly believes that under the direction of the Mongolian Government, the country and the Mongolian people will soon control the COVID-19 pandemic, enter socio-economic recovery and continue to develop sustainably./.
