She wrote that she was also especially grateful for the heart towards the homeland and the country of the Vietnamese community in Hungary. Over the past year, the overseas Vietnamese have supported both materially, intellectually and spiritually, joining hands and contributing to the people at home to fight against the pandemic.

According to the Ambassador, although the Vietnamese community in Hungary is not large, just over 5,000 people, they have donated medical supplies and cash worth over 10 billion VND, including more than 12.5 tons of medical supplies worth nearly 9 billion VND and over 1.3 billion VND in cash.

The precious hearts of the overseas Vietnamese have been recognized and appreciated by Vietnamese leaders and authorities and awarded the Certificate of Merit by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, she wrote.

She believed that the overseas Vietnamese community will contribute more and more important resources to help the homeland of Vietnam to develop prosperously and promote the Vietnam-Hungary friendship.
