Various activities were held at the event, such as drama, Ao Dai performance, traditional dance, lion dance, martial arts performance, lantern making, competition of chess, table tennis and other games like finding lanterns, and using chopsticks to pick up nuts.

The festival attracted Vietnamese children and their families to learn about Vietnamese cultural traditions, creating a joyful and cohesive atmosphere in the Vietnamese community.

Attending the festival, Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK Nguyen Hoang Long highly appreciated VFP's contributions in preserving Vietnamese culture and organizing meaningful activities for overseas Vietnamese in the UK, especially the Vietnamese language teaching program for children of the 2nd and 3rd generation of Vietnamese families in the UK.

The Ambassador affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK always accompanies the Vietnamese community in improving the prestige and image of Vietnamese people in the UK, committing to join hands with VFP and the Vietnamese community to organize and support meaningful events to connect overseas Vietnamese in the UK.

Ms. Quynh Nguyen, founder of VFP, said that VFP annually organizes the Mid-Autumn Festival with the desire to arouse pride of origin among generations of Vietnamese in the UK, and at the same time praising the contributions of the Vietnamese community for the host country.

During the nearly 2 years of the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK, the Vietnamese community in the country has sewn hundreds of protective suits for medical staff at hospitals in the UK, as well as donated and shared meals for hospitals in London.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year for the Vietnamese community in London. It is an opportunity to meet and connect generations of Vietnamese in the UK, as well as teach the younger generations the cultural beauty of the nation.

This unique festival not only attracts people of Vietnamese origin but also people of other ethnicities./.
