Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina celebrates Tet

The Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina recently held a meeting to welcome the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) with the participation of a large number of overseas Vietnamese, representative agencies and families, students and sailors living, working and studying across Argentina.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Duong Quoc Thanh reviewed the great achievements that Vietnam achieved in 2022, especially in the context of overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, restoring economic growth, as well as coping with natural disasters and epidemics.
The comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Argentina has kept growing. The two countries are preparing for the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in 2023, including visits at all levels, he emphasized.
The Ambassador wished the Vietnamese community in Argentina would continue staying united to serve as a bridge promoting bilateral traditional friendship as well as national development.
At the event, overseas Vietnamese and guests also enjoyed traditional Vietnamese dishes for Tet such as fried spring rolls and “Chung” cake./.
