Vietnamese in Laos donate to national COVID-19 vaccine fund

The Lao-Viet Joint Venture Bank present 50 million LAK to the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos on June 21 to contribute to Vietnam's national COVID-19 vaccine fund.

General Director of the Lao-Viet Joint Venture Bank Nguyen Duc Vu said as a joint venture abroad, the bank is always aware of its responsibility towards the homeland.

In response to the Prime Minister's call on the establishment of the COVID-19 vaccine fund, all staff of the bank has contributed to support the COVID-19 fight at home.

Ms. Trinh Minh Tam, a representative from the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, highly appreciated the donation of the bank's staff and affirmed the donation will be soon sent to the COVID-19 vaccine fund.

As of June 21 afternoon, in Vientiane capital only, the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos had received 329 million LAK and 1,700 USD to support the COVID-19 Prevention Fund and the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund./.
