The booth stall attracted a large number of visitors to visit, learn information and buy goods.

TIF 2021 is considered the largest fair in Europe within the past 2 years since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. As a custom, the TIF organizers often reserve a display area for the embassies of countries in Greece.

At this year's fair, there are embassies from Southern and Central Europe, and Asia, including Vietnam, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Big Greek and regional businesses all have booths at TIF. Therefore, every year, Greek Prime Ministers attend and speak at the Opening Ceremony of the event, considering this an important event to announce economic policies of the country.

In addition, within the framework of this year's fair, ministers and other important officials of the Greek Government also attended and spoke at forums and seminars on the sidelines.

At the opening ceremony of this year's fair, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis wished to soon end the state of emergency and focus on implementing reform policies such as: Set new growth targets, focus on plans to support young Greeks and changes in energy markets.

Prime Minister Mitsotakis emphasized that "Greece is changing" and affirmed that the government will spend more on three main groups: Youth, business people and the middle class to promote growth.

Regarding the growth plan, Mr. Mitsotakis said that Greece prepared to announce the modification of its growth target for 2021 from 3.6% to 5.9%, in order to build an "economy that offers opportunities for people, without leaving anyone out."

Besides attending the Opening Ceremony of TIF, Ambassador Le Hong Truong had a meeting with the Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Thessaloniki on consular work and support against the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam.
