Vietnamese students in US spread positive values

The VTNM 9 (Vong tay nuoc My), an event held by the Vietnamese Student Association in the US, has taken place successfully with many breakthroughs, spreading positive values ​​towards the homeland of Vietnam.

Themed “Hope Around The Globe - Spreading Faith”, VTNM 9, held in Dallas city, Texas, has organized various activities such as career workshop, friendly sports competition, charity auction picture exhibition and many other sidelide activities.

Activities within the framework of VTNM 9 are not only an opportunity for young Vietnamese across the US to show their abilities and knowledge, but also an opportunity for them to exchange, learn and receive help from others.

At this year's event, the VENUSA Cup 2021 football tournament took place in an exciting atmosphere with 8 teams from across the US states. The championship of the tournament was presented to the Chicago team.

In addition, the Zadez Valorant Tournament for e-sports also brought dramatic competition.

On this occasion, the career workshop was held in an online form, attracting more than 200 participants, with the topics: business, academic and technology. In addition, 40 mentor-student pairs were exchanged and tested in the trial job interview, an increase of 25% compared to previous years.

At the event, Vietnamese experts in the US shared experience in career development strategies and job-seeking skills, especially in the post-COVID-19 new normal situation. Thereby, international students and experts can find suitable solutions to overcome this challenging period together.

In addition, the Gala Night was held in an atmosphere full of excitement and enthusiasm, imbued with Vietnamese culture with the performance of 8 attractive items from Vietnamese youth and students.

The highlight of the program was the charity picture auction to raise funds for orphans affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, attracting 200 people from all over the US. Notably, the auction program raised an amount of nearly 5,000 USD./.
