ViTAR Open Cup connects Vietnamese community in Russia

The tournament attracted the participation of nine clubs with more than 50 players of all ages from all over Russia to compete on June 11-12 at Spartak Tennis Center in Moscow, Russia.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tournament, Mr. Phan Tuan Khanh, President of ViTAR and Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, emphasized that the organization of the ViTAR Open Cup 2022 shows the development of the Vietnamese tennis movement in the Russian Federation as well as in Europe.

He also believes that through the tournament, the tennis movement in the Vietnamese community in Russia will continue to develop, contributing to enhancing cohesion and mutual understanding, promoting the sport movement of the Vietnamese community in Russia and Europe.

From the first day of its establishment with only a few members, so far, ViTAR has expanded with more than 70 members in many cities across Russia and always accompanies the Vietnamese representative agency in the host country in community movements or activities towards the homeland./.
