During the complicated days of the COVID-19 outbreak until September 20, VKBIA cooperated with Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Company to implement the program "Medical bags to support F0 treatment", which presented 5,000 medical bags to families having F0 contacts to treat at home.
Mr. Duong Quang Phu, Vice President of VKBIA in Southern Vietnam, representative of VKBIA, and leader of the volunteer management team, has actively coordinated with Duong’s Entrepreneurs Club in Southern region, the Fellow-Subject Association of Faculty of Vietnamese under the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Busan University of Foreign Studies, and Tay Nguyen Pharmaceutical Company, to carry out "trucks of gratitude" to transport 100 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables to people who are facing many difficulties in HCMC.
Representatives of the VKIA, with the support of volunteers, divided vegetables, fruits and necessities into 20,000 gift bags to distribute to people in need.
"We hope that the medical bags to support F0 treatment, along with gifts of basic necessities, will contribute to supporting, sharing love and encouraging people in need," Phu shared.
Mr. Lim Kil Chul, executive member of the Fellow-subject Association of the Faculty of Vietnamese under the Busan University of Foreign Studies, said, “We are Vietnamese learners, speak Vietnamese and understand Vietnamese culture. We love Vietnam like a second homeland.”
“We have accompanied VKBIA and friends, who are great bridges in connecting Vietnam-Korea activities. At the same time, we will accompany them in supporting trade exchange and promoting economic recovery in the coming time," he said.
“We have made every effort with all possible resources to join hands with compatriots, with Vietnam to overcome difficulties, repel the pandemic and recover the economy. We hope that the kind and compassionate hearts of Vietnamese people at home and abroad, and international friends who love Vietnam, will continue to spread, to join hands to push back the pandemic,” Dr. Tran Hai Linh, Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Chairman of VKBIA, shared./.
