One of the outstanding and practical activities of the Bim Son town youth union towards the community is the movement “Bim Son youth join hands to build a new-style rural area and a civilized city”. In 2018, union members and youth in the town contributed and supported the new-style rural area construction program with an amount of VND 166 million. In particular, the town youth union coordinated with people of Village 1 in Quang Trung Commune to contribute working days and funds to concretize a 750m-long road with a total cost of 350 million VND.

The union also organized the movement: “Youth volunteers to protect the environment, respond to climate change”, attracting the participation of nearly 700 volunteers and young people. In addition, many people responded to the movement by clearing the environment, collecting street waste, cleaning traffic corridors, and clearing roadside shrubs.
In addition, the work of praising and rewarding the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style is also paid attention to by the unions at all levels to promptly discover and replicate typical examples.
In the face of the complicated COVID-19 outbreak, the Provincial Youth Union’s Standing Board and the town Youth Union’s Standing Board actively coordinated with interdisciplinary forces and mobilized union officials and members to set up volunteer squads to work at COVID-19 epidemic control checkpoints.
