The medical workers and students are from many medical institutions in northern localities such as Hanoi and Cao Bang, Dien Bien, and Thanh Hoa provinces.

Previously, doctors, medical staff and medical students flew into Ho Chi Minh City in August and September 2021 to support the fight against the epidemic, with important tasks such as installing and operating a field hospital and equipment and machinery to treat COVID-19 patients, support sampling for testing, transportation and logistics.

The health sector is still rotating doctors and staff to the southern provinces and cities to fight the pandemic. Over the past week, Vietnam Airlines has continued to carry doctors and nurses to the South to participate in the fight against the epidemic, besides carrying doctors and nurses to complete their return duties.

Up to now, the national airline has supported the transportation of nearly 12,000 doctors, medical staff and hundreds of tons of medical equipment and vaccines to provinces across the country./.
