Long An boosts application of information technology in education

The project of applying information technology will be implemented in preschools and secondary schools from 2020

Accordingly, the project will be realized in pre-schools and secondary schools in the locality with a total expense of more than VND47 billion from the local budget. Of this, VND45 billion will be spent on buying over 1,100 computers and other equipment to serve management and teaching.

The project aims to improve the capacity of applying information technology in educational management, gradually computerizing all management processes.

It also helps complete infrastructure of information technology and telecommunications of the school and classroom system; meeting the demand of online computer training and training practical skills of students.

In addition, the project meets the requirement of universalizing computers for students; improves the application of information technology of teachers; renews teaching and learning methods in order to improve the quality of education and training./.
