The Party Committee of the Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation (Vinataba) has organized a contest to study the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh in 2019 and a meeting to summarize three years of realizing Directive 05 of the Politburo.
These moves aim to mark the 50th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s testament.

In her speech at the event, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vinataba Party Committee Tran Thi Hoang Mai said over the past three years, Directive 05 was implemented seriously and applied proactively and creatively to the production and business situation of the corporation and its member units.
The Party Committee has directed committee members to carry out the emulation of studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings; striving to complete and exceed the targets set by the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels in the 2015-2020 period.
It launched seven regular emulation movements and thematic movements linked with assigned objectives and tasks in order to achieve practical results, contributing to promoting the studying and following of the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.
The corporation has seen many initiatives and technical improvements with high profit value, contributing to improving the quality of products, reducing raw materials consumption and replacing imported goods. From 2016 to 2018, its total number of initiatives and values benefited VND43.2 billion.
On this occasion, the Party Committee commended and rewarded 19 teams and 17 individuals for their outstanding implementation of Directive 05./.
