Mr. Bruno Jousselin, CEO of MM Mega Market Vietnam, said that his business looks forward to supporting the community, especially the medical staff and children patients, during the acute pneumonia epidemic caused by the new coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19), which is becoming increasingly complex.

Speaking at the event, the representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade emphasized that support from businesses contributed to spread and promote the humanitarian spirit in the community, and expressed the wish that businesses would accompany the health sector to join hands to combat Covid-19.

According to the representative of MM Mega Market Vietnam, doctors, pediatric patients and their relatives are at risk of being affected by the epidemic, so the business gives priority to present face masks to National Children's Hospital 1.

The business would continue to present face masks to other hospitals in the near future, and pledged to keep prices stable, with no profit being drawn from masks distributed in the MM system.

Previously, the business implemented many activities to support Vietnamese farmers and producers and to increase the reserve of essential goods to 1,200 billion VND./.
