The 2022 Lunar New Year holiday will last for five days, from January 31 through February 4.

The Government Office has just issued Document 245/VPCP-KGVX dated January 11, 2022 conveying the opinions of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on the holiday for the Lunar New Year and National Day in 2022 for officials, civil servants, officials and employees.
The 2022 Lunar New Year holiday will be from the 29th day of the 12th lunar month in the Year of the Buffalo to the 4th day of the Year of the Tiger ( January 31 through February 4.)
Meanwhile, the National Day holiday will be from September 1 to 2.
The Deputy PM made the decision on the basis of the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Other weekend and anniversary holidays will still take place as regulated in the Labour Code, according to the Government Office’s announcement of his opinion./.
