Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc hopes the fund will mobilize the people's strength to create a new miracle in the fight against the pandemic. According to the Minister, in the fight against COVID-19, the Party and State set the goal of early free vaccination for the whole population to achieve herd immunity, and this needs to be maintained every year. However, as the cost of buying vaccines is very large, the goal could not be obtained if it only relies on the State budget.

Currently, the management board of the fund has opened 21 receiving accounts for 3 currencies (VND, USD, EUR) at the State Treasury Exchange and 6 commercial banks, including BIDV, Vietcombank, VietinBank, HDBank, Agribank and TPBank.

The management and use of the fund, and the opening of deposit accounts with the State Treasury, are publicized on the mass media while the donation amounts are aggregated and widely reported by the State Treasury daily./.
