The campaign to support the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund is very effective, receiving a large amount of support, which is an important resource for the Ministry of Health to buy and inject vaccines for communities, the Ministry of Finance has reported.

According to the Management Board of the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund, as of the end of July 26, the fund received VND8.236 billion, including foreign currency. The money came from 482,123 organizations and individuals.
From now until the end of the year, it expects to be able to vaccinate 75 million people, requiring about VND25.2 billion, including VND14 trillion from the State budget.
The Ministry of Finance has coordinated with units to develop a website for the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund, on which information about the amount of money collected and donors is publicly available.
Currently, the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund Management Board has opened 21 receiving accounts for 3 currencies (VND, USD and EUR) at the State Treasury Exchange and 7 commercial banks./.
