The Electricity of Vietnam Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) has just implemented a program to support and provide funding for southern provinces and cities with medical supplies and equipment for prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and emergency of COVID-19 patients.

According to EVNSPC General Director Nguyen Phuoc Duc, EVNSPC has used all resources and provided support to 11 provinces and cities with a total amount of VND33 billion, equivalent to VND3 billion each, to invest in medical equipment and supplies for pandemic prevention and control.
Up to now, the power companies in Long An, Vinh Long, Can Tho City and Dong Nai represented EVNSPC to give VND3 billion to each for investing and buying medical equipment for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
The remaining localities are coordinating with the electricity sector to urgently complete the procedures for receiving the support money to provide the supplies and medical equipment for the frontline hospitals, helping to increase the successful treatment of the patients during the complicated pandemic situation.
Earlier, EVNSPC and its member companies also donated billions of VND to the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Fund in the southern provinces and cities./.
