On May 9, the department said that from the beginning of this year, the city has created jobs for nearly 110,000 people, accounting for over 36% of the year plan, an increase of 1.67% over the same period in 2021.

Some industries and fields have high demand for human resources such as processing and manufacturing industry; wholesale, retail, repair of automobiles and other vehicles; administrative activities and support services; real estate business; professional scientific and technological activities; banking and insurance; and information and communication.

According to a survey by the Center of Forecasting Manpower Needs and Labour Market Information, from the beginning of the year, the demand for recruiting trained workers has accounted for the largest number of employees, over 86% of the total demand.

The group of untrained workers accounted for nearly 14%, mainly concentrated in chemical-plastic-rubber, textile-garment-footwear, food-food technology, business-trade and service.

A representative of the Center of Forecasting Manpower Needs and Labour Market Information of the city said that the city has implemented many economic development solutions, including a program to restore and develop the labour market involving thousands of workers, and a series of solutions to attract workers, especially foreign workers, to return to work.

Diverse sectors have strengthened the implementation of job consulting activities, and organized job fairs to promptly create jobs for workers, and ensure resources for enterprises to conduct production and business activities./.
