Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi reviews five-year of implementing Politburo’s Directive 05

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi recently held a conference to set the targets for the second quarter of 2021 and assess the five years of implementing Directive No.05-CT/TW of the Politburo.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Sy Truong said in the first quarter of the year, over VND4.7 billion has been raised to support the COVID-19 fight, while providing support for people affected by the pandemic with goods and financial support worth VND6.33 billion.

On the occasion of Tet, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi presented 259 gifts worth VND162 million for poor households and people impacted by COVID-19 pandemic; support the construction of five solidarity houses for five families worth VND200 million.

As many as 116 units, Departments and enterprises have participated in support of the “For Vietnam seas and islands” fund with financial means worth VND20.7 billion by March 30, 2021.

Moreover, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi also focuses on preparing for the upcoming election of deputies for National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 period.

Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong asked the organization to continue ensuring the successful organization of the election of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all level for the 2021-2026 period and promote patriotic emulation movements./.
