Vung Tau city in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau will organize the Hai Dang Mountain Climbing Tournament on April 24 to launch the Olympic Running Day for the entire people’s health, with a distance of 3km with 6,000 participants.

The event is a traditional sport activity of Vung Tau city to gradually build up the habit of exercise and sports to improve physical fitness and health for people.
In recent years, this activity has attracted many athletes, with an annual average of 5,000 people, contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, and encouraging people to practice sports following the example of the great Uncle Ho.
This year, with the goal of creating a strong influence among the people, the city wishes to widely encourage agencies, units, organizations and people to respond.
The participants of the Hai Dang Mountain Climbing Tournament include citizens, officials, civil servants, public employees, laborers, and armed forces living, studying and working in Vung Tau city, and tourists.
With the content of 3km walking and climbing, about 6,000 participants will start at 5:30 am on April 24, 2022 at Bai Truoc Park with the route from the Revolutionary Traditional House on Quang Trung street to Ha Long street, then turn left up to Hai Dang slope and back to the finish./.
