Writing about Hanoi, Time Magazine assessed: “Vietnam’s 1,000-year-old capital is embracing change while maintaining a strong sense of identity.”

“Hanoi’s incredible street-food culture is another source of fierce civic pride. Lovers of pho, the city’s signature dish, were gratified when Pho Gia Truyen, one of Hanoi’s most legendary vendors, was recognized in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants “Essence of Asia” list in 2020, a collection of storied venues that represent the spirit of gastronomy in the region,” the magazine added.

Reviewing Ho Chi Minh City, Time said that great food of Ho Chi Minh City never disappoints its admirers.

As for Phu Quoc, known as “the pearl of Vietnam”, Time assessed that the island is really a masterpiece with rare natural beauty, fresh tropical climate and background. Food and local culture are irresistible.

Besides familiar attractions such as Duong Dong town, Ham Ninh fishing village, Phu Quoc prison, pepper garden, and fish sauce house, Phu Quoc today has put on an attractive new look with luxury resorts of the world’s leading brands and Vietnam./.
