Data from Google’s market trend tracker tool shows that the number of international searches for Vietnam's tourism has grown by 50-75%, the fourth-highest increase in the world, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

Google said that Vietnam’s index has continuously maintained a high growth rate for more than 2 months, showing the strong recovery rate of the tourism industry.
In particular, the markets with the largest searches about Vietnam tourism include: the US, Singapore, Australia, Japan, India, France, Germany, Thailand, Canada and the UK.
The most sought-after destinations in Vietnam by international tourists are: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phu Quoc (Kien Giang province), Da Nang, Hoi An (Quang Nam province), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province) ), Da Lat (Lam Dong province), Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan province), and Hue (Thua Thien Hue province).
By the end of April 2022, the international search volume for flights related to Vietnam increased by 1,114%, and continued to climb by 2,000% in May compared to the same period in 2021.
Meanwhile, the search volume for accommodation in Vietnam increased more than four times from the beginning of April 2022 to mid-May 2022./.
