Trains connecting Ho Chi Minh City with other localities resumed

Many pairs of trains connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa and Da Nang are being resumed, said the Sai Gon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, based on the travel demand of passengers on the HCM City – Da Nang route, SE21/SE22 trains ran again from September 8. SE22 train departs from Sai Gon Station at 11:40 am, while SE21 train starts from Da Nang Station on 09:30 am.

The trains do not stop at Phu Cang Station in Quang Nam province. Together with measures to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, the Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company is rearranging seat spacing on SE21 train.

The company began re-operating SPT1/ SPT2 trains from Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh City) to Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan) and return on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from September 11.

Meanwhile, the SNT2 train from Sai Gon to Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) runs every Thursday and Friday from September 10 and the SNT1 from Nha Trang to Saigon runs every Saturday and Sunday from September 12

Passengers must make medical reports before boarding, check temperature at stations, regularly wash hands with antiseptic soap or solution, wear face masks and restrict movement between carriages if unnecessary./.
