First fruit week “on the dock under the boat” organized in HCM City

Ms. Hoa said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year every year, the spring flower market “on the wharf under the boat” at Binh Dong Wharf becomes a favorite destination of local people and tourists.

This year, the district organizes another fruit week event to maximize the district's strengths in terms of natural conditions and traditional cultural characteristics associated with the project of the Ho Chi Minh City Culture Development Strategy in the 2020 – 2035 period.

This activity also contributes to honoring the achievements of labor in the field of agriculture, raising the brand name of southern fruits. Through the move, the city hopes to promote the potential of the district’s tourist destination, gradually making it a traditional fruit festival./.
