Hai Phong: Electronic components factory put in operation

Lite On Vietnam Co., Ltd. has built the first factory in VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park since 2018, with a line of products specializing in the production of electronic circuit boards, packaging and assembly, finishing printer heads, scanners, module wifi and electronic components.

So far, Lite On Vietnam has invested 96 million USD in projects at VSIP Hai Phong.

The operation of Lite On Vietnam factory is expected to meet the needs of customers for products such as Netcom, consumer electronics with automation, high digitization, combined with advanced technologies of big data, artificial intelligence, network of things connected to the Internet in production and manufacturing.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Kien, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, congratulated and hailed Lite On Group’s efforts in soon completing the second phase of the factory.

Like many other large Taiwanese enterprises (China) expanding their production activities in Hai Phong, Lite On Vietnam has made efforts to expand production, contributing to bringing the amount of FDI capital of Taiwanese enterprises (China) in the port city to 2 billion USD, out of a total of nearly 24 billion USD of existing FDI in Hai Phong.

Kien affirmed that the government and state management agencies in Hai Phong are always committed to accompanying and creating all favorable conditions for investors in general and businesses from Taiwan (China) in particular to develop production and business activities, especially to ensure safe production amid strong fluctuations of the world./.
