HCM City launches new tourism product in Tan Phu district

The Tan Phu District People’s Committee has cooperated with the HCM City Department of Tourism to launch “Tan Phu - Going is remembering” tour. This is one of the tourism products in a series of new tours and routes to attract domestic and foreign tourists to the locality.

Visitors will visit Phu Tho Hoa tunnels, a creative work in the two resistance wars against the French and against the US of the army and people of Loc Hoa and Phu Tho. Next is Phap Van Pagoda, built in 1965, initiated by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
Visitors also have the opportunity to visit Ngoc Linh Ginseng Museum, which displays more than 400 artifacts about precious ginseng varieties of Vietnam. At the same time, they learn how to distinguish Ngoc Linh ginseng from other types of ginseng.

Attending and experiencing the new tour, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh People’s Committee Phan Thi Thang said that in addition to promoting the connection of tour routes with other provinces, the city promotes tourism development in its localities.
“Ho Chi Minh City is not only a source market for tourists, but also an attractive place with many places that have not yet been promoted widely,” said Phan Thi Thang./.
