“HCM City Outstanding Young Entrepreneur” Award in 2022 launched

This year’s award is for Vietnamese entrepreneurs not more than 47 years old (instead of 45 years old as usual) and holding the following positions: Chairman (Vice Chairman) of the Boards of Directors, Chairman (Vice Chairman) of the Members’ Councils, President (Vice President) of companies, General Director (Deputy General Director), and Director (Deputy Director) of enterprises established and operating under the Law of Vietnam. Units must have head offices, branches, and representative offices operating and doing business in the southern city.

According to Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association Truong Ly Hoang Phi, the criteria for selecting the award are not only production and business activities, but also green criteria and participation in social activities. In addition, the enterprises must fully solve the policies and regimes, and take care of the material and spiritual life of employees.

This year, 10 awards are expected to be given to excellent young entrepreneurs and 10 typical young entrepreneurs operating in various fields.

In particular, this year’s award is aimed at honoring and encouraging the spirit of excellent entrepreneurs for their efforts in directing their enterprises to overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.

The organizers will receive applications until August 25, 2022. The award ceremony is expected to take place on October 10, 2022.

The “HCM City Young Entrepreneurs Excellence Award” was established in 2000, initiated and chaired by the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union. The award was assigned to the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs to be a permanent unit, held every two years./.
