So far, Tan Lac has had 2 products exported to foreign markets, namely sugarcane and Tan Lac red-flesh grapefruits.

Vice Chairman of Hoa Binh People’s Committee Dinh Cong Su emphasized that this achievement is thanks to the efforts of the province's agricultural sector, cooperatives and local people in Tan Lac district.

The export of this fruit will be a great encouragement for local farms to strive for more export shipments of other agricultural products, he added.

Director of Hoa Binh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Huy Nhuan said that besides the development and expansion of the area, the application of science and technology to the cultivation of red-flesh grapefruits is increasing day by day, towards sustainable development.

Local people are well aware of the role of using organic fertilizers and biological products to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers, ensuring compliance with regulations on plant quarantine and all requirements for Tan Lac red-flesh grapefruits to be exported to the world market./.
