By the end of November of 2022, the Ministry of Transport disbursed 34.9 trillion VND, reaching 63.4% of the supplemented plan and 69.4% of the assigned plan.

The information was released at a conference held by the ministry on November 24 to review disbursement progress.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, until January 31, 2023, the Ministry of Transport needs to continue disbursing about 20.151 trillion VND.
The capital is concentrated in the projects of investors, the ministry’s large projects management boards (about 12.218 trillion VND, accounting for 60.6%) and the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project of the Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Finance Investment Joint Stock Company (4.723 trillion VND, accounting for 23.4%).
Notably, 11 North-South expressway component projects in the first phase were assigned a capital plan of 16.034 trillion VND. By the end of November 2022, 12.439 trillion VND were disbursed, accounting for 77.6%, while the remaining will be disbursed in the near future.
As many as 12 North-South expressway component projects in the second phase are assigned a capital plan of 9.521 trillion VND. By the end of November 2022, 4.553 trillion VND were disbursed, accounting for 47.8%.
Key and urgent projects are assigned capital plans of 3.243 trillion VND. By the end of November 2022, 2.399 trillion VND were disbursed; accounting for 74%.
The remaining plan of 874 billion VND will focus on 6 projects, including My Thuan - Can Tho Expressway (242 billion VND); the route connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Cau Gie - Ninh Binh (241 billion VND); the project to upgrade Cao Lanh - Hong Ngu national highway 30 (80 billion VND); National Highway 24 project - component 2 (75 billion VND); the project to upgrade the runway at Tan Son Nhat Airport (55 billion VND); and Noi Bai Airport runway project (51 billion VND)./.
