Over 1,000 businesses joined conference on connecting supply and demand

The program aims to form a direct, effective and substantive contact channel between state management agencies of  provinces and cities in the field of industry and trade; state management agencies and enterprises; contact channels of suppliers and distributors; and contact channels between businesses and consumers.

This year’s program focuses on promoting e-commerce, connecting online supply and demand through the website www.ketnoicungcau.vn, focusing on discussing solutions to speed up the process of combining direct and online distribution.

At the same time, the event includes activities to connect supply and demand of provinces and cities such as Dong Thap Specialty Products Week, and OCOP Product Introduction Week with typical products of An Giang, forming a chain of continuous connection activities of many localities.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Thi Thang suggested that the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City continue to promote its role as a focal point and closely coordinate with Departments of Industry and Trade of provinces and cities to promote online connectivity and boost e-commerce application solutions in connecting supply and demand; creating the most favorable conditions for supply and demand sides to meet, exchange and share in both face-to-face and online environments./.
