(CPV) – Some 900 businesses from 27 countries inside and outside Southeast Asia attended the SIAL InterFood 2022 from November 9 to 12 at the Jiexpo Kemayoran Expo Center, Indonesia.

This is the leading prestigious international fair in Southeast Asia on food, beverages, additives in processing, technological lines, raw materials, services, machinery and equipment used in the food processing industry.
The annual event is reopened in a live format after 2 years of being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the organizers, this year’s fair is expected to welcome about 95,000 visitors from 62 countries and 88,000 visitors from 11 provinces of Indonesia.
This fair was attended by a number of Vietnam’s agricultural export enterprises. The Vietnam Trade Office in Indonesia also displayed at the fair to promote and introduce strong agricultural and aquatic products such as cashew nuts, pepper, rice, coffee, tea, litchi, longan, dragon fruit, frozen shrimp and fish to Indonesian importers and retailers, as well as to many other markets in ASEAN, Asia and the world.
According to Vietnamese Trade Counselor Pham The Cuong, these are products that Vietnam can completely supply, contributing to enriching and diversifying the tastes of Indonesian consumers./.
