The trade deals took place within the framework of a direct trade connection event between 8 suppliers from Ulsan city, the Republic of Korea, and nearly 30 businesses buying Vietnamese goods. This is the first direct trade event after a more than 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

According to KOTRA Hanoi, Korean businesses have brought the best quality products including: cosmetics, food - beverages, and equipment - industrial supplies.

More than 40 continuous trade exchanges between businesses of the two countries focused on such contents as detailed product introduction, requirements for certification of Korean or international standard quality of products, and conditions to be distributors.

“We believe that commercial contracts will be signed after these transactions. Also at this event, KOTRA Hanoi has directly advised businesses of the two countries on legal procedures related to international trade activities,” affirmed Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen, Head of KOTRA Hanoi Office.

Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen added that 2022 marks an important and meaningful event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the RoK. KOTRA Hanoi will further strengthen trade promotion activities with more than 80 face-to-face and online trade events with the participation of more than 1,300 Korean enterprises and nearly 1,500 Vietnamese enterprises.

All Korean products are promoted by KOTRA Hanoi to businesses and consumers in Vietnam through online channels./.
